- As of the release of Shadowbringers, TP is no longer a resource. Weaponskills now have no cost or use MP like spells.
TP, or tactical points, were required to use your weaponskills. If the TP cost of a weaponskill was greater than your remaining TP, you could not use that weaponskill. TP slowly regenerated over time in and out of combat.
