When gathering, there is a chance of triggering the Gatherer's Boon effect, which will grant an additional item during that gathering attempt.
For Fisher, a large-sized fish is caught instead, offering the EXP benefits of Gatherer's Boon while also granting a stack of Angler's Art. The fish otherwise acts as a single, normal item in your inventory.
The higher your perception rating, the better chance you have of triggering this effect.
