Two and a half centuries old, or thereabouts, this talented practitioner of the arcane arts is well versed in the mysteries of the soul and a known expert in the workings of aether. Beq Lugg was once a common sight in Voeburt's royal castle, but the embittered Nu Mou severed ties with mortals when their magicks were abused in a terrible incident involving monstrous transformations. They eventually took up residence in the Grand Cosmos, a palace abandoned at the advent of the Flood, and embraced the life of a hermit. At first refusing all pleas to aid with the sin eater infestation, Beq Lugg was finally moved to rejoin the world by the heartfelt petition of the Warrior of Darkness. Although dismayed and disappointed, the Nu Mou had never truly lost their love for mankind—and indeed, now quite enjoys their regular chats with Moren.

Additional Information
- After the conclusion of the Shadowbringers main story, and post-main-story quests, Beq Lugg can be found in the Cabinet of Curiosity within the Crystarium.
- In battle, such as during The Grand Cosmos, Beq Lugg takes the form of the Seeker Of Solitude, as a scare tactic.
- The official Lodestone side-story, "Tales from the Shadows: Small Mercies" is told from Beq Lugg's perspective, and reveals some of the history of Voeburt's fall.
- Beq Lugg means "Birch Treasure" in the Fae Language.
