— In-game description

Ruin II is an action unlocked at level 38. It is available for Scholar.

Related traits

  • Broil Mastery.png  Broil Mastery (Lv. 54) - Upgrades Ruin to Broil and increases the potency of Ruin II to 160, and Art of War to 165.
  • Broil Mastery II.png  Broil Mastery II (Lv. 64) - Upgrades Broil to Broil II and increases the potency of Ruin II to 180.
  • Broil Mastery III.png  Broil Mastery III (Lv. 72) - Upgrades Broil II to Broil III and the potency of Ruin II is increased to 200.
  • Broil Mastery IV.png  Broil Mastery IV (Lv. 82) - Upgrades Broil III to Broil IV and increases the potency of Ruin II to 220.

Notes

  • The potency of this action is 140 until Broil Mastery.png  Broil Mastery is learned at Lv. 54, which increases potency to 160.
  • The potency increases to 180 when Broil Mastery II.png  Broil Mastery II is learned at Lv. 64.
  • The potency increases to 200 when Broil Mastery III.png  Broil Mastery III is learned at Lv. 72.
  • The potency increases to 220 when Broil Mastery IV.png  Broil Mastery IV is learned at Lv. 82.
  • This action is an instant-cast spell that serves as an alternative to Scholar's main attack spell (Ruin.png  Ruin, Broil.png  Broil, Broil II.png  Broil II, Broil III.png  Broil III, or Broil IV.png  Broil IV depending on the level). It should be used during movement when casting the main spell is not possible. As a trade-off, Ruin II has less potency than the corresponding primary attack spell at a given level.
  • Interestingly, at lower levels, it is actually a slight damage gain to use this action as the primary attack spell in place of Ruin while being within melee range, as the potency of this action combined with auto-attack damage is somewhat stronger compared to using Ruin alone.

History
