Lore
"These agile fighters pride themselves on their skills with knives and daggers to make quick work of enemies. Lurking in the shadows, adhering to no laws but their own, they punish the wicked, pilfering their ill-gotten gains and delivering them to the downtrodden masses. General Information
Rogue is a melee DPS class introduced in E3 2014. Rogue dual-wields 2 dagger weapons and becomes the job Ninja at level 30. Rogue can use hide to become invisible to others and execute unique attacks while hidden. Additionally, Rogues move faster, take reduced fall damage and apply various types of poisons to their weapons.
- Rogue was released in patch 2.4
Unlock
- Prerequisite: You must have completed level 10 class quest for at least 1 Disciples of War or Magic class. You must have unlocked the Armory System.
- Location: Rogue's Guild is located in Limsa Lominsa.
- Quest: Speak to Lonwoerd in Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks (x8,y16) to obtain the quest My First Daggers.
Play Style
Rogue is a melee physical DPS class. You will queue as a melee DPS in the Duty Finder. The primary Attribute for Rogue is Dexterity (DEX), which increases physical damage. The dagger weapons of Rogue are similar to those used by the Pugilist, they are dual-wielded but only one weapon in the inventory. Rogues do not use any items in the offhand-slot.
