Once the importance of elemental agency was realized, mankind began experimenting with all manner of substances, searching for those which exhibited more aptitude at channeling magicks than others. Nature, as always, was the best provider of such items, the bleached bones of mystic beasts, the gnarled boughs of ancient trees, and the glowing hearts of woodland sprites all proving to increase the chances of successfully casting a spell. | |||

black mages. They consist of staves.
Until level 50, one-handed weapons are available for thaumaturges and black mages, along with two-handed weapons. Past that, two-handed weapons are the only weapon type available.
