Weakness icon1.png Weakness is a status effect that causes Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Mind to be reduced by 25% for the duration. It is received after being revived from death in combat.

Dying a second time with Weakness still active gives Brink of Death icon1.png Brink of Death upon revival.

Respawning (also called a release) after an encounter is over revives the player without the Weakness icon1.png Weakness debuff. In dungeons and raids, players should always respawn after combat whenever possible rather than waiting for a healer to revive them.
