In Patch 5.3, quests in the A Realm Reborn main scenario were abridged as part of an overhaul of the early leveling experience. Some quests had steps modified or removed, others were converted to side quests, and approximately 13% of quests were eliminated entirely. Completion of the Crystal Tower quests were also added as a requirement to proceed to Heavensward to aid in storytelling. Starting in Patch 6.1, many dungeons and some trials were adjusted to add compatibility with the Duty Support system. Trials and dungeons related to the main scenario quests Operation Archon, Rock the Castrum, and The Ultimate Weapon were converted from eight-player duties to four-player duties and solo instance battles. In Patch 6.2, the trial The Steps of Faith and its associated quest were adjusted to become a solo instance battle. This sub-page documents these changes to the Post-ARR section.
