“Having put an unceremonious end to Komra's carnival with their incomprehensibly advanced weaponry, 2P's cohort of white-garbed androids retreats into the crater from whence they came. Though they are certain to have the tactical advantage should you pursue them into the installation, such a threat cannot go unchecked, and you and your newfound ally 2B are quick to give chase─Anogg and Konogg hot on your heels.
— In-game description
The Puppets' Bunker is a level 80 raid introduced in patch 5.3 with Shadowbringers.
It is the second part of YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse.
Objectives
- Duty Progress: 0/6
Bosses
813P-operated Aegis Unit
- Firing Order: Anti-personnel laser - AoE tankbuster.
- Maneuver: Beam Cannons - Expanding/shifting cones. A small safe area in darkest shaded ones; some shrink faster than others, get to shrink fastest first.
- Maneuver: Collider Cannons - Red lasers seen from cannons on the boss shine red cone areas.
- Firing Order: Surface Laser - A player is marked with a red AoE marker. Quickly bombarded with circle AoE attacks that will follow them. Ten hits.
- Aerial Support: Swoop - Drones appear from the sides, streak across arena in a line.
- Maneuver: Reflections Cannons - Cannons make straight row of fire.
- Maneuver: Diffusion Cannon - Raidwide AoE blast.
- Aerial Support: Bombardment - Mech suit adds appear. Some previous mechanics will occur simultaneously.
- Program: Life's Last Song - As the Aegis Unit floats up, white rings with Nier scripts with appear. Stand in the safe gaps between them.
724P-operated Superior Flight Unit (A-lpha), 767P-operated Superior Flight Unit (B-eta), 772P-operated Superior Flight Unit (C-hi)
(Note: Each alliance party is tethered to their respective letter Flight Unit. Whatever attack one Flight Unit does, the others are doing simultaneously.)
- Maneuver: Missile Command - Raidwide AoE attack in three consecutive hits.
- Maneuver: Incendiary Bombing - AoE markers on players drop puddles.
- Maneuver: High-powered laser - Wide laser blast.
- Maneuver: Precision Guided Missile - Tankbuster.
- Formation: Sharp Turn - Each pilot tethers to one another and draws a sword and charges. (All pilots hold their blades the same way. If they hold in the right hand, stand in the middle of the arena. If in the left hand, stand outside along the edges.)
- Formation: Air Raid - Transitions for Lethal Revolution.
- Lethal Revolution - Each Flight Unit begins an AoE circle attack around the edge of the arena. The direction and beginning is indicated by an arrow circle on the floor.
- Formation: Sliding Swipe - Two of the Flight Units drop massive AoE circles and cover 2/3 of the arena. Follow the Flight Units to the side of the arena in the safe zone. Note which side each pilot is holding their sword in, and dodge appropriately.
- Maneuver: Area Bombardment - circle AoEs.
905P-operated Heavy Artillery Unit
- Maneuver: Volt Array - Raidwide AoE.
- Operation: Activate Laser Turret - Boss interfaces with the central console, red orbs appear in groups of three. First stand where the highest row of three appears, move backwards and wait out the attacks. Then move sideways to the other row of orbs.
- Maneuver: High-powered Laser - Tankbuster in a line AoE. Point away from the group.
- Maneuver: Unconventional Voltage - Four players are targeted with a large red cone AoE. Spread out and do not overlap.
- Energy Bombardment - Red orbs are shot upwards and splash down three times.
- Maneuver: Impact Crusher - Three jumps and ground smashes. Last jump immediately triggers "Revolving Laser"
- Maneuver: Revolving Laser - Massive AoE. Only safe spot is a circle near the boss.
- Operation: Access Self-consciousness Data - Boss interfaces with the central console again, the monitors flicker on the walls.
- Operation: Activate Suppressive Unit - Slow moving orbs are fired from the wall.
- Support: Pod - Pods appear and Pod Program initiates. There are varying versions of either all the same or a mix of pods:
- Operation: Pod Program v1 - consists of either R030 appearing on the screen or R010.
- R030 Pods - Large circle AoEs. The safe spot is to stand in is directly between the pods.
- R010 Pods - Line AoEs that compound into a star in the middle. The safe spot is between the pods.
- Operation: Pod Program v1 - consists of either R030 appearing on the screen or R010.
- Operation: Synthesize Compound - Circle markers appear around the arena - 4 the first time, then 6 the second time. Each needs 3 players to enter for it to turn white and become safe.
- Operation: Pod Program v2 - A mix of the R030 and R010 pods. Note the monitors again, the only safe space is a very small spot between the two R010 pods. Every other Pod Program v2 will shift the pods at an angle, so be ready to shift accordingly to between the two R010 pods.

The Compound
Rewards
You can receive only one reward item per week for completing duties in the Puppets' Bunker. In the event you are awarded an item from the loot list, you relinquish your right to vie for all remaining items regardless of whether you selected Need or Greed.
- Reward eligibility is reset every Tuesday at 1:00 a.m. (PDT)
Each party in the alliance will receive its own treasure chest, the contents of which will be identical regardless of the route taken.
- Players cannot open a treasure chest belonging to another party.
Completion Reward
Upon completing the Copied Factory, players can also earn a separate reward: two Cracked Stellaclusters and one Puppet's Coin. The Puppet's Coin can be exchanged with Fathard in Eulmore (X:10.2 Y:11.7) for items used to enhance equipment purchased with Allagan Tomestones of Allegory. Currently as of 5.3 only one coin is obtainable weekly.
