The president's “script” has culminated in a grudge match between you and the Brute Bomber, who has recklessly injected himself with multiple feral souls. Now an abomination, the only way to save the reviled heel is to stop him forcefully through battle. For his sake, this is a fight you cannot afford to lose.

— In-game description

AAC Cruiserweight M3 is a level 100 raid introduced in patch 7.2 with Dawntrail. The raid is also known as M7 or M7N.

Guide

Please note that players may fall off the arena to their deaths. Being hit with any avoidable AoEs will inflict a stack of Vulnerability Up icon1.png Vulnerability Up, along with possibly other effects.

Aggressive difficulty r6.png Twisted Vengeance: Brute Abombinator

This fight consists of 3 phases, each on a different arena.

Phase 1

  • Brutal Impact: Three hits of physical raid-wide damage.
  • Stoneringer: The Bludgeoning or Stoneringer: The Stabbing: The boss will spawn either a club (bludgeoning) or a sword (stabbing). This will denote a point-blank or donut AoE, respectively, that is stored for later.
  • Brutish Swing: A tank (off-tank if the club is used, maintank if the sword is used) will be marked with a split damage AoE physical tankbuster (Brutal Smash). This resolves immediately after the stored point-blank or donut AoE from its drawn weapon.
  • Spore Sac: Spawns four circle AoE telegraphs, summoning spores that will extend in two directions, causing additional circle AoE telegraphs to spawn from their ends. This is combined with Pulp Smash, a physical stack marker AoE on a random player. This leaves behind a dark red circle AoE telegraph at the stack AoE's location, along with eight conal AoE telegraphs that radiate from it.
  • Blooming Abomination adds will spawn from the spore sacs. These should be defeated quickly with AoE attacks. Three of the adds will use Crossing Crosswinds (a telegraphed plus-shaped line AoE pair) while the fourth will use Winding Wildwinds (a large telegraphed donut AoE). These attacks can be interrupted to create more space for dodging, but this is not strictly necessary. The adds will leave behind their corpse when defeated.
  • Quarry Swamp: A roomwide AoE that will inflict Stone curse icon1.png Stone Curse, petrifying the player and causing any damage they take to be lethal. This attack must be avoided by hiding behind either a living or dead Blooming Abomination add.
  • Explosion: Three proximity AoEs will appear in a triangle pattern, spawning either clockwise or counterclockwise. Rotate away from them to mitigate the magical damage.
  • Neo Bombarian Special: Physical raidwide damage and will fling players off of the arena. Players must position to be knocked towards the north platform.

Phase 2

Players should take note of the locations of three large pillars: one north, one northeast, and one southwest, on this long rectangular arena.

  • Upon landing, the boss will immediately attach itself to the north pillar. Its hitbox will enlarge and it will gain Directional disregard icon1.png Directional Disregard whenever it is attached to a pillar.
  • Stoneringer: The Bludgeoning + Brutish Swing: Functions similarly as before, but not coupled with a tankbuster (only the point-blank AoE).
  • Stoneringer: The Stabbing + Brutish Swing: The boss will spawn a sword and tether another pillar, causing it to move to it and the donut AoE to originate from its new location.
  • Glower Power: A telegraphed line AoE in front of the boss and spread marker AoEs on each player, dealing magical damage.
  • Abominable Blink: One tank will be targeted with a flare marker. They should move far away from the party to mitigate the magical damage. This attack also functions as a tankbuster on them.
  • Revenge of the Vines: Raid-wide magical damage. This will be an instant attack when used in some mechanic combinations later on.
  • Stoneringer: The Stabbing + Sporesplosion + Brutish Swing: Will brandish a sword and spawn three sets of circle AoE telegraphs, while tethering another pillar. Players should move towards its destination pillar while dodging the circle AoEs to give enough time to avoid the coupled donut AoE.
  • Powerslam: Raid-wide physical damage and destroys the arena, causing players to fall down to the final arena.

Phase 3

Instead of falling off, the arena is surrounded by a dangerous fire AoE. Each cardinal has a pillar that the boss can attach itself to.

  • Stoneringer 2: Stoneringers: The boss spawns both a club and a sword.
  • Spore Sac + Brutish Swing: Functions similarly, but one of the boss's weapons will glow, indicating what type of AoE it will use upon attaching itself to the pillar. This is immediately followed with an instant Revenge of the Vines raidwide.
  • Lashing Lariat: One of the boss's arms will begin glowing, indicating that side will be hit by a large line cleave that leave around a third of the arena safe. The boss will travel to the opposite pillar. Afterwards, it will tether an adjacent pillar and use the Brutish Swing stored in its remaining weapon.
  • Slaminator: A large tower with a stack marker will spawn in the middle of the arena. The entire party should stack to mitigate the physical damage.

Mechanics then repeat until the boss is defeated.
