Milalla
The Milalla are a race similar to the Lalafell of The Source and likely hail from the south seas isles.
History
On their reflection of origin, the Milalla lived peacefully on an archipelago of eternal summer; never knowing winter and covered in fields of colorful flowers. However, eventually a calamity not unlike The Flood covered their islands in ice, even freezing the oceans. All plant and animal life perished, and the Milalla were on the verge of extinction as well. Desperate, the survivors' spiritual leader called The Speaker activated a mysterious relic (later known as "the key") they had been studying since before the calamity. This relic turned out to be capable of opening a rift between reflections. With nothing to lose, they escaped their doomed home and ended up in Alexandria.
Excelling in mathematics and calculus, the Milalla used scientific formulae to represent all natural phenomena, and even devised a unique system of magic. Bringing their expertise and knowledge with them to Alexandria, they helped created a material known as electrope, which spring-boarded a technological revolution in their new home and averted a lightning-based calamity reminiscent of the ice which had cause their flight from The Source.
