Northern Staging Point

In the event that the Crystarium guard is required to deploy in force, its soldiers are instructed to muster at this designated site. The staging point saw practical use, for instance, when a rescue company was formed to respond to the attack on Holminster Switch.

Inviolate Witness

Situated atop a small plateau and connected to Laxan Loft by a stone bridge, this modest arbor once allowed the elven highborn to enjoy the bracing mountain air in peaceful seclusion. Inviolate Witness, as its ruins were later called, has the dubious honor of being the location where a sin eater was first spotted in Lakeland.

The Stay

This fortification was originally put into place to help secure Laxan Loft against Voeburtite incursions. These days, however, its walls serve as a vantage point from which to keep watch for Il Mheg's more adventurous faeries.

Clearmelt

The ravages of the Flood saw Clearmelt's once-famous inn repurposed as a treatment facility for the wounded and the weary. Melted snow streaming down from the northern ranges fills its springs with rejuvenating, crystal-clear waters.

Hare Among Giants

The unusual name given to this simple woodcutter's camp was meant to serve as a reminder: here be monsters. While no actual giants were in evidence, workers were encouraged to return home before dark, lest they fall afoul of the forest's savage wildlife.
