Lore

"In my forge, I see everything my artisans do...or don't do, for that matter."

Iola, a Hume blacksmith of eighteen summers, is affiliated with the Facet of Forging and runs a private forge known as the Iron Bellows. Growing up surrounded by smiths has nurtured a no-nonsense attitude, but even she can be brought to tears. Her gratitude when her colleagues helped reclaim her father's ring from Walden, an unscrupulous moneylender, was beyond compare—but the experience also taught her the emotional impact of sobbing, and she has since developed an unfortunate habit of derailing conversations about wages with weepy displays.
