As none have been willing to approach her so-called copycat to find out, the official answer remains “by being an unholy abomination, probably.”
Though the Isle of Val remains unchanged in its topography, its aetheric equilibrium is distorted beyond measure, which in turn has worked bizarre alterations upon its monstrous denizens. One such example of this transformation is a morbol dubbed “Copycat Cassie” by adventurers familiar with its Black Shroud namesake. Sheathed in ice and writhing with tendrils, this specimen has grown to truly inconceivable proportions.— In-game description
