Personal Housing

Personal Housing allows individual players to purchase their own houses in the 5 Residential Districts.
- Personal Housing was introduced in patch 2.38.
Requirements
- Character with level 50 in 1 of the classes.
- Second Lieutenant in 1 of the Grand Companies.
- Each character that met the requirements can purchase 1 unowned plot of any size, within any Ward.
Estate Sharing
Estate Sharing is a feature released in patch 3.1. It allows the owner of a house to designate up to 3 of their friends as "tenants" who have access to the house and its associated features. A player may only be a tenant of at most 2 houses.
Tenant Authorizations
The owner of a house may configure the following authorizations for their tenants:
- Customization - Adding / Removing / Dyeing Furnishings
- Gardening - Planting / Harvesting / Crop Disposal
- Stable Tending - Stabling Chocobos.
- Orchestrion - Orchestrion operation
Guest Access Settings
- Private Estate Access: Allows the general public to enter your estate
- Teleport: If you have a Miniature Aetheryte installed, allows those on your Friend List to teleport to your estate (1/2 price)
Plot Prices
As of patch 3.3 housing prices of each server have been unified, the following is a list of starting prices for each housing size. With the introduction of the new Lottery System in patch 6.1, plot prices no longer devalue and are fixed.

The cost of a plot is based on size and 'grade' of the plot itself (as determined by the developers). The costs are:
