Darklight Raiders

The Darklight Raiders were a band of mercenaries that performed various tasks and deeds generally considered commonplace today for adventurers. In their time however, they were considered the best at what they do. They were beloved across the realm, and were often hired to perform dangerous tasks. They met their end after taking a mission to Cutter's Cry, where they were tasked with slaying the Chimera within. Unfortunately the Chimera was too powerful for them and slayed most of them, the only survivor being Sibold the Stoic, hiding under the bodies of his comrades until the beast had left, then fleeing the cave.

Several years later, the cave was cleared out and the Chimera was slain. Finally the weapons of the Darklight Raiders could be recovered, as they had reached legendary status.
