Phantom Jobs

Phantom Jobs are a major gameplay system within the upcoming  Occult Crescent field operations series. By equipping a phantom job, players will gain access to additional actions and traits to enhance the gameplay of their primary job. Players will also be able to level up phantom jobs.

These jobs appear to be directly based on FFV jobs, including some that are existing FFXIV jobs (e.g. monk, samurai) and others that were not suitable for implementation as a full job in FFXIV (e.g. chemist). However, this does not necessarily rule out the possibility that some jobs may receive a full implementation in the future.

  • Gain access to offensive actions such as "Phantom Kick" and "Occult Counter".

  • Gain access to supportive actions such as "Mighty March".

Trivia

• All confirmed phantom jobs are directly based on Final Fantasy V jobs. The sprite artwork for each job is Bartz Klauser as the respective job.
