A seasoned adventurer of twenty-seven years, Aulie was bid to join the Scions by Tataru in Black Brush—though she was somewhat dubious of the invitaton at first. What the Wildwood woman lacked in tact she made up in caring, and in time she came to be an elder sister to Arenvald. She, too, fought alongside A'aba when the imperials came, laying down her life to protect the half-Garlean lad.
