Icons

How do i go about obtaining icons ex: "Soul crystal of the Samurai"? or others The preceding unsigned comment was added by Nytetrain (talk).

Hi! Click on the Upload file to upload a file to use it later. People obtain icons from media available from Square Enix, although it's known by the community the usage of data-mining tools that read the game files to extract icons. Valento (talk) 18:16, 16 June 2017 (UTC)

Do new images need to be sourced?

I would like to add images to weapons, armor, etc. However, I don't have all of the items, so I'm wondering if it would be okay to take the images from other sources: (Google, Eorzea Database) The preceding unsigned comment was added by Nanashin (talk).

Sure, go ahead. You can indicate the source of the image by adding a comment to the image when you're uploading it -Moogle (talk) 17:56, 22 August 2017 (UTC)

Visual Editing?

Is this Wiki going to adopt Visual Editing? Makes things much easier....

No confirmation email

I've tried a few times. No confirmation email shows up for me. Is there a problem sending to a gmx.com email address from your wiki? I've encountered issues with various sites / email servers where one thinks the other is blacklisted or something. Just saying. 3 times ought to do it.

How to delete unnecessary pages?

Recently, a new user made a new page called Æ— åè§çš„æŠ¥å‘Šä¹¦ä¸Šåš æ°¢æ°§åŒ–é’ BoilingPoint 显示 that clearly does not belong in this wiki. It appears to be talking about some sort of cooking recipe. How do I go about getting this page deleted?

Best idea is to poke an admin (which is usually me heh) at the wiki discord. I'm not active as before, but I'll get to it and delete both pages and the offending account. Valento (talk) 12:48, 20 April 2018 (UTC)

To what extent are spoilers acceptable?

Hi, I figured I'd contribute a little, despite no one else adding/editing something for a while, but wanted to ask to what extent spoilers are acceptable? I mean, on one hand this is a wiki to gather all the information in one place, but I've contributed to some other wikis where such things became an issue. So yeah, aye/nay on possible spoilers and in case it's an aye, to what extent can I add stuff and if there's a limit to begin with.

In this case, the question was prompted by me starting to work on the page about the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, and not knowing whether to include what happens during the actual in-game story in the history or not, seeing how their heavy involvement would spoil most of the story.
