Relic Weapons are special fabled weapons, some of which repeatedly appear in the Final Fantasy series. Relic weapons either play a significant part in the lore for that job; or are the most powerful weapons for that job in previous Final Fantasy games. Once obtained, relic weapons can be upgraded through a series of time-consuming tasks and quests to potentially become the most powerful weapons in the game at the time.

There is a different series of Relic Weapons in each expansion. Other than at the beginning of the Anima Weapons, there is no interaction between the different expansions' relics. You can do them in any order you choose.

Relic weapons from past expansions are not intended for combat use, but for cosmetic, achievements, and collection purposes. Weapons of similar power, for the same player level, that are much more easily obtainable and are intended for character progression can be bought with Allagan Tomestones of Poetics.

Lv 90: Manderville Weapons

1. Complete a side quest or quest chain to obtain a Relic Weapon. 2. Defeat powerful monsters or bosses to acquire a Relic Weapon. 3. Exchange items or currency with a merchant to purchase a Relic Weapon. 4. Participate in special events or tournaments to win a Relic Weapon. 5. Search for hidden chests or areas that may contain a Relic Weapon. 6. Speak to NPCs to see if they have a Relic Weapon for sale or trade. 7. Buy a Relic Weapon from an online store or auction house. 8. Craft a Relic Weapon by gathering the necessary materials and using a special recipe. 9. Use a special item to upgrade an existing weapon to a Relic Weapon. 10. Use a special item to summon a Relic Weapon from another realm.

Relic Weapons are powerful weapons that are usually acquired through unique means, such as completing a quest or defeating a powerful enemy. They are usually found in the later parts of the game and can have powerful effects when used. Relic Weapons are usually extremely difficult to obtain, and some may require completing multiple tasks or puzzles in order to acquire them.
