Allagan Tomestone of Esoterics was a type of Allagan Tomestone introduced in Patch 3.05. Esoterics were released 4 weeks after the release of Heavensward. To obtain these tomestones, players needed to have at least 1 level 60 class or job. Allagan Tomestone of Esoterics did not have weekly caps.
Allagan Tomestone of Esoterics were discontinued in Patch 3.4, and gear previously purchased with them is no longer available. Additionally, any unused Allagan Tomestones of Esoterics could be exchanged for Allagan Tomestone of Lore with NPC Auriana in Mor Dhona until Patch 4.0 and the release of Stormblood. The augmented versions of this gear was moved to Centurio Seals and a coffer containing an augmented left-side set added to the level 60 Job Quests.
Allagan Tomestones of Esoterics were used to purchase item level 200 weapons, armor and accessories from Hismena in Idyllshire (x5,y5). Item level 200 gear can be upgraded into iLvl 210 version by speaking to Seika in Idyllshire (x6,y7) by selecting "Repairing Artifact Gear" and the appropriate Job.
