One-eyed Wylfred was a pirate lord and a contestant in the seventy-second The Trident.
He commanded several vessels in a massive fleet, led by his crown ship the Dauntless. During the Trident, though he was favored to win, he was betrayed by his first mate Keitlach, and he lost the contest to Admiral Geisswaen, his arch rival. When Geisswaen took the victory and became Admiral, he had Wylfred crucified from Bearded Rock.
