The Garo event is a Collaboration Event with the Garo TV show in Japan. It consist of new gear, titles, and mounts obtained through PvP.
The original event ended on 29 October 2019 with the release of patch 5.1. The collaboration returned with patch 6.1, updated for Shadowbringers and Endwalker jobs.
Getting Started
To participate in the Garo event, talk to the Disreputable Priest (X 5.0,Y 5.3) at the Wolves' Den Pier. Class specific gear sets and weapons can be bought with Wolf Marks. After obtaining the weapon and full five-piece set of Garo gear for each class, present the equipped character to the disreputable priest to gain a Garo title for that class. Accessories are not required for obtaining a title.
After receiving a title, win in Frontline and Crystalline Conflict matches with the titles equipped to receive the mounts.
Updates for patch 6.1
Trade 
Wolf Marks for Garo gear by speaking to the disreputable priest at the Wolves' Den Pier (X:5.0 Y:5.3). Items resembling the Garo gear can also be exchanged for 
MGP at the Gold Saucer Attendant in the Manderville Gold Saucer (X:5.4 Y:6.6).*
The following adjustments have been made for this edition of the collaboration:
- Feast achievements progress kept, but Crystalline Conflict added to achievements to allow further progress.
- Rival Wings added as an option to Frontline achievements.
- Gunbreaker and reaper gear have been added.
- Samurai, red mage, gunbreaker, dancer, reaper, and sage achievement titles have been added.
- (No new weapons were added)
* These Glamour-only items cannot be used to earn titles.
