Tales of Adventure: Heavensward

Tales of Adventure: Heavensward is a Scenario Skip that allows the player to Heavensward Main Scenario Quests.

Benefits

Main Scenario Quests

All Main Scenario Quests including those for your starting city and class will be completed automatically.

Your character will have already accepted the first main scenario quest of Stormblood, Beyond the Great Wall. In order to accept the main scenario quest "Beyond the Great Wall," you must have a Disciple of War or Magic at level 60 and have a registered product key for FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood to your service account.

Grand Company

Players who have yet to join a Grand Company will be enlisted in the Grand Company of their starting city.

Mount

Players who have yet to obtain a chocobo will be given one automatically, and unlock the ability to ride other mounts.

Duties and Trials

Players will gain access to most dungeons and trials associated with A Realm Reborn and Heavensward.

Achievements, Mounts, and Minions

Players will obtain all achievements, titles, mounts, and minions associated with the main scenario of A Realm Reborn and Heavensward.

Aetherytes

Players will unlock all aetherytes available prior to Stormblood. (Gold Saucer and Wolves' Den Pier not included)

Aethernet

Players will unlock the aethernet in all cities available prior to Stormblood.

Area Maps

Players will discover all area maps available prior to Stormblood.

Dye

Players will unlock the Dye action.

Cutscenes

Players will unlock all main scenario cutscenes for A Realm Reborn and Heavensward, which can be viewed via the Unending Journey in any inn room.

Flying Mounts

Players will unlock Aether Currents in all Heavensward areas automatically, and gain access to flying mounts.

In-game Help Text

In-game help text will be available for all unlocked features.

Requirements

Product Key - You must have a registered product key for FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn to your service account.

Main Scenario Quests - This item cannot be used if you have already completed the main scenario quest The Far Edge of Fate. This item includes Tales of Adventure: A Realm Reborn.

Included In-game Items

• Ten Silver Chocobo Feathers, which can be traded with Calamity Salvager NPCs for gear.
• 300,000 gil in Allagan Platinum Pieces.

Usage

1. Log into the Mog Station, proceed to the Optional Items section, and purchase a Tales of Adventure item for either A Realm Reborn or Heavensward.
2. Speak with a delivery moogle and receive your Tales of Adventure item, silver chocobo feathers, and Allagan platinum pieces.
3. Use the Tales of Adventure item inside any large settlement.
4. As of patch 4.0, this includes Limsa Lominsa, Gridania, Ul'dah, Ishgard, Idyllshire, Rhalgr's Reach, and Kugane.
5. You will be logged out automatically upon using this item.
6. Log back in with the character that used the Tales of Adventure item.
7. You will appear in an inn room of your starting city, wherein you can use the Unending Journey to view cutscenes for all completed main scenario quests.
   • Speak with a Calamity Salvager to exchange your silver chocobo feathers for any desired gear. A wide assortment of gear is available to better suit your needs.
     • Calamity Salvagers are located at Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks (x11.3,y14.3), Old Gridania (x10.0,y8.4) and Ul'dah - Steps of Thal (x12.6,y13.1)
   • The Allagan Platinum Pieces received in your mail can be sold to NPC merchants for gil. It is recommended that you check the market board afterward for items that may prove useful in your adventures.
8. When you are ready, set out to explore the far reaches of Eorzea and beyond!
