I can see why there's a temptation to call this the Ninth based on the similarity to FFIX, but it looks a LOT like most of this reflection perished in a calamity of Lightning, suggesting it's the small surviving remnant of the 12th. They even say in the MSQ that it seems like most of the world was destroyed, and only a small chunk survived inside the lightning dome.
