Aithon is a mount that can be summoned with a Aithon Whistle, which has a chance of dropping upon completion of The Bowl of Embers (Extreme).
Collecting this mount alongside with 5 other Nightmare mounts (Nightmare itself is not required) allows you to acquire a Kirin Fife through a sidequest A Legend for a Legend.
