Soulkin refers to beings formed of stone and given life via Magic. While still devoid of a true soul, the beings are able to walk and think, or be given orders. The first and most common use of this form of magic was by the mages of Amdapor, who developed White Magic in response to the looming threat of the people of Mhach and their Black Magic. By channeling Aether with the intent to heal and protect, the mages of Amdapor were able to use soulkin to help handle the Voidsent threat. In more modern times, Soulkin are rarely used, but can still be found in ruins and ancient cities, guarding areas that were once of great importance.
