Strategy
Useful Spells: Aetheric Mimicry:Healer and Pom Cure, Eruption, Fire Angon, The Ram's Voice, Flying Sardine
This is a long fight with clutch heals -- to avoid mana issues from White Wind, it is recommended that one uses Aetheric Mimicry on a healer to enhance Pom Cure. A couple fire spells like Eruption and Fire Angon are also useful. Combining Bristle and Song of Torment makes a potent DoT as well, which helps due to the length of the fight.
- Doom Impending: Heal up to full health before Durinn finishes casting this. Durinn will inflict you with Doom and Incurable. Incurable prevents you from healing yourself, so the only way to remove the Doom is to preemptively have 100% health.
- March of the Draugar: Spawns four different sets of adds. All of these are vulnerable to fire, so spells like Eruption and Fire Angon are effective. All of these adds can be inflicted with Deep Freeze, making The Ram's Voice an effective way to stall them.
The first set is a significant group of weak enemies that quickly move towards you and Bind you. The second is four mages at each cardinal direction that attack at range. The third is four large adds that jump onto you (using fire aspect AoE attacks after they jump is recommended). The fourth is two large, slow moving enemies. The fourth set often comes with Durinn casting Impending Doom after, so it is recommended that you defeat them to guarantee that you are full health when Doom and Incurable is inflicted.
- Cackle: Deals high damage. This attack can be interrupted, so using a spell like Flying Sardine can stop it.
- Necrobane: An AoE that leaves behind a puddle which inflicts Bleeding and Death Becomes You while standing in it. This is vital to avoid death from Mega Death.
- Mega Death: Similarly to the Weeping City of Mhach, standing in the puddle left behind by Necrobane will nullify this attack. Otherwise, it will kill you instantly.
- Helblar Shreik and Funeral Pyre: These attacks will inflict minor damage on you, but will deal significant damage to you if you are afflicted with Death Becomes You. Avoid standing in the Necrobane puddle when these are cast.
- Brainstorm: Inflicts you with a debuff that indicates a direction you will walk in based on your orientation once the debuff runs out. This is a random direction every time; either forward, back, left, or right of where your character is facing. This is followed with Bilrost Squall.
- Bilrost Squall: Covers the area with a significant amount of AoEs, except for one part of the arena. Standing in the exact center of the arena and orienting one's self so that the Brainstorm debuff forces you to walk into the safe zone will allow you to avoid taking damage.
