Summerford is an area found in the center of Middle La Noscea. Its fertile soil and location near Limsa Lominsa make it a prime spot for the city to encourage farming. Outside of the farms, the region is still largely wild, with a wide variety of beasts and raider camps tucked away in the corners.
Settlements
Summerford Farms
A settlement run by retired pirates attempting new lives as farmers.
Landmarks
Rogue River
A small river marking the border between Summerford and Zephyr Drift popular with fishermen.
Agelyss River
The western portion of the Agelyss river runs through Summerford, ending at the ocean. Another part of the river can be found in Eastern La Noscea.
Seasong Grotto
Notable for containing a memorial with the Sailors' Requiem carved into its face. The requiem is both a means of protection against misfortune and a prayer for those sailors who die on land to return to the sea. The stone reads as follows:
I am the waves that bear.
I am the winds that guide.
I am the evening stars.
I am the morning sky.
I am born of the sea.
And there shall I die.
The Cookpot
A natural rock outcropping serving as a nest for aurochs.
Tiller's Rest
A popular spot for ex-pirate farmers to take a load off out of sight of their superiors.
