Tips and Tricks

  • Shred is a tankbuster.
  • The Hand is a dodgable conal aoe that knocks back anyone hit.
  • Counter Maneuvers grants Hellsclaw either Manawall or Stoneskin. If it has Manawall, it will reflect all magic damage done until enough physical damage is done to break the shield. if it has Stoneskin, it will reflect all physical damage done until enough magical damage is done to break the shield.

If soloing Hellsclaw, he can stun players repeatedly in an unending chain. If you shield so you do not take any damage, the stun will not work. Companions can also help to break the stun chain by breaking Manawall, the physical damage shield.

Description

Hellsclaw. So erratic yet bloody a swath has this piece of magitek cut across the region that it is suspected of being sadly afflicted in some way.
So much for the infallibility of Garlean technology, eh? Hard to be afraid of a wheel that needs truing, I know, but be careful all the same.
