Coerthas is a region in Aldenard. It is a uniquely split region. The Coerthas Central Highlands are an A Realm Reborn zone, but the city of Ishgard proper is the primary setting of Heavensward, with the Coerthas Western Highlands likewise inaccessible until that expansion. Prior to the Calamity, Coerthas had a lush, verdant woodlands climate.
