Journal
- Ever one to take the feelings of others into consideration, Alphinaud states that he will inform Tataru of your plans, and bids you go on ahead to the airship landing. Let Cid know that he will be along shortly.
- The Enterprise has been prepared for departure, and Alphinaud has rejoined you. Inform Wedge that you are ready to board.
- Aboard the Enterprise, you take a moment to yourself and gaze into the Sea of Clouds. In the silence, familiar words echo in your mind. “For those we have lost. For those we can yet save.” You close your eyes and attempt to turn your thoughts elsewhere -- only to be confronted with the memory of a broken shield...
- Arriving in the Blue Window, you find no Vanu waiting to receive you. Nevertheless, Alphinaud appears to be on edge.
- Alphinaud advises you to be vigilant, for their scouts could be lurking anywhere -- even watching you as you speak...
Dialogue
Accepting the Quest
Alphinaud: Into the fire, is it... In that case, I should inform Tataru of our plans. Alphinaud: Pray go on ahead to the airship landing. I shall join you anon.
Optional Dialogue
Wedge: Good to see you again, [Forename]! It'll be a pleasure to have you aboard the Enterprise again!
Biggs: I, uh, heard about your man Haurchefant... Sorry for your loss, [Forename].
Speaking with Cid at the airship landing (Cutscene)
Cid: The boys have been hard at work preparing for our flight, and I'm pleased to say we are ready to depart. Cid: That is, as soon as a certain...Ah.
Alphinaud: Pray forgive me my lateness. Tataru and I had much to discuss. Alphinaud: We still have no news of the missing Scions, but she assures me that Urianger and Riol are pursuing promising leads.
Cid: Come, come - we can continue this discussion aboard the Enterprise!
Optional Dialogue
L'khonebb: Hello there, sir/madam! So you know, I'll be available to ferry you back and forth once the chief charts a course. Deputy president's orders and all that.
Speaking with Wedge (Cutscene)
'Wedge: The others are waiting for you aboard the Enterprise, [Forename]! Shall we get going?
Cutscene start
Count Edmont de Fortemps: To the northern reaches of the Sea of clouds, where countless isles yet remain uncharted... Count Edmont de Fortemps: In search of a mysterious land known as Azys Lla, and the unmasked villain who sought to claim its secrets... Count Edmont de Fortemps: Oblivious to the new threat which followed in their wake, they came..
Optional Dialogue
Cid: We'll keep the Enterprise here for now, but if you need to head back to Ishgard, you can use that standard to signal for an Ironworks airship. Cid: Don't worry—we charted a route safe enough for others to fly...unless that primal shows up. But what are the odds of that, eh?
Biggs: The Enterprise is ready to fly at a moment's notice. Just come running if you run afoul of something you can't handle.
Wedge: We'll stay in touch with your Temple Knight friend, don't you worry!
Speaking with Alphinaud
Alphinaud: From here, Camp Cloudtop looks rather far... Alphinaud: Ahem. Be on your guard, [Forename]. The Vanu could be anywhere - even watching us as we speak.
