Living Dead is an action unlocked by questing at level 50. It is available for Dark Knight.

Notes

  • If the dark knight dies while the first effect is active, they will enter a zombie-like invulnerable state with 1 HP for ten seconds. This is similar to Holmgang.png  Holmgang, shown with the text "most attacks will not lower your HP below 1". For ten seconds, the dark knight must be healed for a cumulative amount equal to 100% of their HP, e.g. if they have 15000 max HP, they must be healed for a cumulative total of at least 15000 to exit the zombie state. They do not need to be healed to their max HP.
  • When this action is cast, the Living Dead effect Living dead icon.png will be applied. If this effect is still active and timed correctly with incoming damage, then Walking Dead Walking dead icon.png with the grayscale icon will become active for a further 10 seconds, and the Dark Knight's weaponskills/spells (i.e. global cooldown actions) will then begin to heal themselves with the Cure effect. Once the user has received enough healing Undead Rebirth Undead rebirth icon.png will be applied as a replacement effect, with the same remaining duration of Walking Dead. When Undead Rebirth is present the tank is safe, or in other words, if the grey Walking icon is about to expire and has not been turned into Undead Rebirth, then the Dark Knight tank may need extra help from a healer.
  • In summary, for healers:
    • When you see the red hourglass Living dead icon.png, stop healing the tank and let them drop to 1 HP.
      • If they are still not "dead" and there are about 3 seconds left, consider abandoning the plan and healing them anyway, as there is a risk they will "die" too late and die for real.
    • When you see the gray hourglass Walking dead icon.png, the tank will heal themselves until it changes into the red raise Undead rebirth icon.png.
      • The tank usually does not need help to heal, but if they are still in gray with about 3 seconds left, consider using a strong burst heal such as Benediction.png  Benediction.
    • When you see the red raise Undead rebirth icon.png, business is back to normal and you can resume normal healing strategies.
