Born as a Plainsfolk in the Fifth Astral Era, Setoto hails from the seaside nation of Nym, where she spent many an idyllic day cooking, weaving, and lamenting her unluckiness in love. One tragic day, she was stricken with the Green Death, spurring her scholar father to make a dangerous trek to the enemy nation of Amdapor in search of a cure—a journey from which he never returned. Roused from slumber over fifteen centuries later, she set out to find a memento of her father. With the aid of a generous adventurer and the marauder Alka Zolka, she succeeded in finding his soulstone, only to fail in summoning the faerie Lilac, expending all her aether in the process and falling into a state of unconsciousness.
