The dead remain restless, and the architect behind the Palace of the Dead unseen. Though none have lived to tell the tale true, some explorers claim the maze now reaches some two hundred floors below the Shroud. What horrors await the brave souls who would delve into the darkest depths of the ruins?

Patch 3.4 Special Site

Palace of the Dead (Floors 71-80) is a level 60 deep dungeon introduced in patch 3.45 with Heavensward.

Floor 80 Boss

The boss will cast Charybdis, dropping a large persistent AoE that deals heavy damage and inflicts Windburn icon1.png Windburn, a Damage over Time debuff. The boss will also cast Thunderbolt, a frontal-cone AoE that deals high damage. The boss will also leap to one of the cardinals and fire Trounce, covering a large portion of the arena in an AoE. Players will need to move to the hitbox of the boss to avoid the attack. Finally, when the boss is close to death, the boss will cast Ecliptic Meteor and needs to be defeated before the cast finishes.
