Interrupt is a status effect introduced in Shadowbringers (5.0). It replaced Silence icon1.png Silence for player use.

A gauge indicating when actions can be interrupted has been added. Player actions with this new effect can prevent the execution of enemy abilities when used before this bar can be filled. The following actions have this effect:

These actions are Role Actions available to all Tank role.png Tank and Physical Ranged DPS role.png Physical Ranged DPS jobs, respectively.
