Borderland Ruins (Slaughter) is a deathmatch mode for Frontline PvP that was introduced in patch 2.5. Similar to Frontline, up to 72 players, divided into 3 teams based on their Grand Company allegiance, battle for supremacy.

The Maelstrom: complete level 50 quest Like Civilized Men and Women (Maelstrom) by talking to Trachraet in Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks (x12,y12)
The Order of the Twin Adder: complete level 50 quest Like Civilized Men and Women (Twin Adder) by talking to Scarlet in New Gridania (x9,y11)
The Immortal Flames: complete level 50 quest Like Civilized Men and Women (Immortal Flames) by talking to Mimio Mio in Ul'dah - Steps of Nald (x8,y9)
Requirements
- Level requirement: Level 50 Disciples of War or Disciples of Magic
- Level Sync: iLvl 80
- Time Limit: 15 minutes
Rules and Mechanics
How to Win
Players earn tactical points for their teams by defeating the players of opposing teams. The team with the highest tactical points at the end of time limit or the team that reaches the required tactical points first wins. The rest of the teams are ranked by the amount of points they have.
