“The highlands of Gyr Abania are the farthest northeast region of the continent of Aldenard, bordering Ilsabard. Gyr Abania was once home to the city-state of Ala Mhigo until it fell to the Garlean Empire in year 1557 of the Sixth Astral Era.

Introduction
This area is a part of the Stormblood expansion and can be reached via the main quest line or by speaking with the Serpent Officer at X:22 Y:29.5 in the East Shroud.
