Gathering classes, also know as disciples of land, harvest natural resources around Eorzea. These natural resources can be used by crafting or disciples of hand classes to synthesize new and useful items.
The 3 disciples of land classes are Miner, Botanist and Fisher.
Players can unlock these gathering classes by talking to the Guild Receptionist in perspective Guilds. Players are required to have a lvl 10 or higher Disciples of War or Disciples of Magic class to do this.
- To switch to a gathering class, simply equip the tool of that class from your armory chest.
Gathering Basics
GP are your gathering points. GP are required to use some of your gathering actions.
- While you have a gathering class equipped, GP bar replaces your MP bar.
Gathering Attributes
Gathering increases your likelihood of receiving an item while gathering.
Perception increases the probably of the item you receive to be high quality.
