Stronghold is a level 2 tank [[Limit Break]] that requires [[Gladiator]], [[Marauder]], [[Paladin]], [[Warrior]], [[Dark Knight]] or [[Gunbreaker]]. It reduces damage taken by all party members by 40% for 15 seconds. It was previously called [[Mighty Guard]] until the release of [[Blue Mage]] in patch 4.5.

Upon activation, the tank draws in golden-white energy. Upon completion, they thrust their arms out to each side as crystalline domes of tessellating polygons form in front of all affected party members.
