Intelligence is the primary offensive stat for spell casting classes, thaumaturge, conjurer and arcanist, and jobs, White Mage, Black Mage, Summoner and Scholar. Higher intelligence corresponds to higher Attack Magic Potency and more magic damage your spells will do.
