Template talk:NPC infobox

Voice actor

Hello folks! I'm new to this particular wiki, and rather than be bold on a high traffic template, I figured I should ask first. Would anyone object to adding a field to this template to list the voice actor for NPCs? --Corveroth (talk) 04:25, 22 January 2019 (UTC)

Location map

The template prompts for a location map, but doesn't document how to add it to the infobox. Can anybody help? Whamelie (talk) 07:03, 13 July 2019 (UTC)

I, too, finally got to this Talk page, and I have no idea how to hide "Have an image of this location? Then please upload it!" Tried everything, and Ctrl+F for these keywords in NPC template code/location template code is coming up short =/ --Icy` (talk) 15:55, 12 October 2019 (UTC)

I did have a look into it sometime ago as was annoying me too. It's difficult to explain though ... so hopefully this makes sense. So our "location template" is old and wrong (I think) - the NPC infobox template references the location template somewhere in its data which is why that box appears. When the NPC infobox was introduced - we should have updated the location template but we didn't so I think thats why it shows the horrid old grey box with that message. I did try some testing awhile ago by removing from the template but the boxes went a bit odd so I reverted my changes. Whitenorth (talk)
