Additional Information

Lore

Born into a merchant family, Fordola was blessed with loving parents. For their daughter's future, they chose obedience to the Garlean Empire, and for their loyalty were granted citizenship and enjoyed a life of comfort. But in the eyes of other Ala Mhigans, many of whom lived in destitution, they were no better than traitors. One day, a rock was thrown, then another. It became a hail, and Fordola's father was killed shielding her. That day, her childhood ended, and she grew up keenly aware of her place.

Disdained by the Garleans and loathed by her countrymen, the Highlander found kindred spirits in other youths of like circumstance, and together they enlisted in the imperial army. They swore that they would do whatever it took to rise high, that all Ala Mhigans might gain acceptance. Save perhaps to remember the taste of her mother's herb-roasted gazelle, the nineteen year old has not since looked back.
