Pre-Requisite

Before begin to create your Relic Weapon, you must:

• Complete Main Scenario Quests: Heavensward
• Reach level 60 for your chosen job.

An Unexpected Proposal

Starting NPC:	Rowena
Starting Location:	Idyllshire, Idyllshire (x5,y5)
Your journey begins with "An Unexpected Proposal" quest. This is a one time quest and does not need to be repeated; further weapons will start from Soul Without Life. For this quest, simply: Speak to Rowena (x5,y5) in Idyllshire. Travel to Alpha Quadrant in Azys Lla to speak with Ardashir (x7,y11).

The following 3 quests need to be completed in order, for each relic, and are job-specific. However, you can work on multiple relics at one time. An example is picking up Soul Without Life on your PLD, whilst working on Coming into Its Own for your WAR.

Soul Without Life

Starting NPC:	Ardashir
Starting Location:	Alpha Quadrant, Azys Lla (x7,y11)
Speak to Ardashir (x7,y11) in Azys Lla. Travel to Mor Dhona to speak with Syndony (x22,y5). She will give you two options to receive the Astral Nodule and Umbral Nodule. Give up a Zodiac Zeta Weapon. Speak to Syndony again and she will allow you to turn one zeta weapon of any type (except PLD, where both sword and shield are required) for both the Astral Nodule and the Umbral Nodule. You will loose your Zodiac Zeta Weapon. NOTE: If you are trading in your relic, make sure to finish The Vital Title quest from Jalzahn before you do. This is the quest you complete for the Home of the Brave achievement. Farm fates in Heavensward zones for Crystals to turn in to her for Nodules: Collect 3 Luminous Wind Crystals, 3 Luminous Fire Crystals, 3 Luminous Lightning Crystals and turn into Syndony for a Astral Nodule Collect 3 Luminous Ice Crystals, 3 Luminous Earth Crystals, 3 Luminous Water Crystals and turn into Syndony for a Umbral Nodule Travel to Alpha Quadrant in Azys Lla to speak with Ardashir (x7,y11). Zone Luminous Crystal The Sea of Clouds 3x Luminous Wind Crystal Azys Lla 3x Luminous Fire Crystal The Churning Mists 3x Luminous Lightning Crystal Coerthas Western Highlands 3x Luminous Ice Crystal The Dravanian Forelands 3x Luminous Earth Crystal The Dravanian Hinterlands 3x Luminous Water Crystal Notes: Luminous Crystals drop randomly from any FATE in that zone with at least a Gold Rating. It is completely random: you may get 3 Luminous Crystals in the space of an hour or just 1 Luminous Crystal after three days. The drop rate is suggested to be somewhere around 10%.(Source). Being in a party or having your Chocobo out has no effect on the suggested 10% chance of drop. Being able to finish FATEs faster, however, will allow for more chances in the same amount of time. The only mandatory requirement is that you must have an active "Soul Without Life" quest in order for Luminous Crystals to appear. You can choose to be on any job or use any weapon you like. This is a good opportunity for you to train your Chocobo or another job if you wish. When Luminous Crystals do drop, you will be alerted in-game by a popup. The Luminous Crystals go into your normal inventory rather than your Key Item inventory. Make sure you have free space in your inventory. You do not need to stay for the entire length of the FATE, but only successfully completed FATEs with at least a Gold Rating will drop Luminous Crystals. Use of the Party Finder is recommended to quickly group with other players. A Chocobo Companion can be used to make the battle easier.

Travel to Mor Dhona to speak with Christiana NOTE: you only have to speak with her once; future anima weapons you can immediately trade with her. Trade tokens to Christiana for Anima Weapon Materials. Each Material requires 20 NQ Items and 4 HQ Crafted Items.
