A peerless warrior who commands equally impressive fees for his services, Yojimbo is rumored to have been hired by the soy sauce mogul, Kageyama, and his motley crew of insurgents when they occupied Kugane Castle—though he was not present when the Sekiseigumi arrived in the wake of the adventurers who defeated the rebel forces. He was last seen in the employ of Akebono, another merchant of ill repute, which might lead some to assume he has no scruples and cares only for koban. Or could it be that he is simply an avid collector of swords? And just who or what is he? Truly, he is a man of many mysteries.
