Lore Mystery

I'm scratching my head over this one.

  • In Azys Lla, I noticed that The Cathedral was odd compared to the other buildings, made of bricks with a very specific pattern.
    • The sightseeing log description for the Cathedral also says that it is a distinctly Meracydian style, and that "the Allagans moved the ancient structure to Azys Lla from its original location on the southern continent." Azyema's mark is also present inside the Cathedral, on the walls.
  • More recently I noticed the same pattern appearing again on architecture around The Silent King near the Footfalls in Thanalan, and the statue we believe to be of Nald'Thal near Highbridge.
  • Had a "well duh" moment as I noticed the landmark "Royal Allagan Sunway" near Horizon and thought, sure, maybe these were built by the Allagans too.
    • Furthermore confused by the "Royal Allagan Starway" and "Sunway" near Central Thanalan that do not show signs of similar architecture.

Then I noticed that in the frames above each statue near The Silent King and Highbridge, is the symbol of Ayezma the Warden, not the symbol we associate with Nald'Thal. Meanwhile, Nald'Thal's lore has the specific bit about "Nald'thal fired golden bricks in the heat of Azeyma's sun and built the city of the Heaven of Fire, where the just and fair, and the honest and philanthropic came to rest."
