Duty Roulette is a feature for the Duty Finder introduced in the patch 2.1. Duty Roulette allows the player to participate in randomized duties. Duty Roulette is divided into 4 categories: Leveling, High Level, Main Scenario and Guildhests. In Patch 2.2, Trials and Expert were introduced. In Patch 2.5, Frontline was introduced.
Currently players can only use the Duty Roulette while solo. They cannot join as groups (except for High Level and Expert) or with a Companion out.
Rewards for Duty Roulette
The Duty Roulette offers a daily reward that give the players a combination of experience, Grand Company Seals, Gil, Allagan Tomestone of Poetics and/or Allagan Tomestone of Law, depending on the type of duty.

Expert Duty Roulette
The Expert Duty Roulette places the player into one of the new random level 60 light party dungeon released in last patch. These new dungeons are considered harder than those in previous patches and require a higher average item level. Like the High Level Duty Roulette the roulette will only become available after unlocking and completing all the dungeons in the roulette. As of patch 3.0, the following dungeons make up the Expert Duty Roulette:
As of patch 3.0, due to the above dungeons, an average item level of at least 145 is required.
High Level Roulette
The High Level Duty Roulette will put the player into a random level 50 light party dungeon. Unlike the Leveling Duty Roulette, the roulette will only become available after unlocking and completing all the dungeons in the roulette. As of patch 3.0, the following dungeons make up the High Level Duty Roulette:
- The Keeper of the Lake
- The Wanderer's Palace (Hard)
- Amdapor Keep (Hard)
- The Wanderer's Palace
- Amdapor Keep
- Pharos Sirius
- Copperbell Mines (Hard)
- Haukke Manor (Hard)
- The Lost City of Amdapor
- Halatali (Hard)
- Brayflox's Longstop (Hard)

- Stone Vigil (Hard)
- Snowcloak
- Sastasha Seagrot (Hard)
- The Sunken Temple of Qarn (Hard).
As of patch 2.4, due to the above dungeons, an average item level of at least 80 is required.
As of patch 3.0, experience is awarded only after completion of dungeon.
Leveling Roulette
The Leveling Roulette will put the player into a random light party dungeon under level 50 (level 60 as of patch 3.0) that the player has unlocked; or one of the three original primal trials from the main story quests (The Bowl of Embers, The Navel and The Howling Eye). Players can participate in the Leveling Roulette once they have unlocked a dungeon at level 15 or higher. The daily reward for Leveling roulette depends on your character's level and the level of the dungeon / trial. Players below level 50 will receive a larger sum of experience along with Company Seals and Gil. Additional experience will be given to the player if they run a dungeon that is far below their level. Level 50 players will receive a daily amount of Allagan Tomestones.
As of Heavensward, Sohm Al, The Aery, The Vault and The Great Gubal Library are included, which are above level 50.
Trials
The Trials Duty Roulette will put the player into a random trial. Unlike the Leveling Duty Roulette, the roulette will only become available after unlocking and completing all the trials in the roulette. As of patch 3.0, the following trials make up the Trials Duty Roulette:
- Cape Westwind
- The Bowl of Embers (Hard)
- Battle on the Big Bridge
- A Relic Reborn: The Chimera
- A Relic Reborn: The Hydra
- The Howling Eye (Hard)
- Thornmarch (Hard)
- The Navel (Hard)
- The Whorleater (Hard)
- The Striking Tree (Hard)
- The Dragon's Neck
- The Akh Afah Amphitheatre (Hard)
- The Chrysalis
- Battle in the Big Keep
- The Steps of Faith
- Thok ast Thok (Hard)
- The Limitless Blue (Hard)
Main Scenario Roulette
Main Scenario Duty Roulette will place the player into one of the two full party dungeons from the finale of the main storyline quest, either Castrum Meridianum or The Praetorium. Completing both dungeons is necessary to unlock this roulette.
Guildhests Roulette
Guildhests Duty Roulette places the player into a random guildhest the player has unlocked. Players can begin to participate in this Duty Roulette at level 10 or higher. Roulette unlocks automatically when you unlock your first guildhest. Higher level guildhests are unlocked when players complete the previous set and are at least the same level as the next set, in increments of 5 levels until level 40.
Frontline Roulette
Introduced in patch 2.5, Frontline Roulette places the player into either Borderland Ruins (Secure) or Borderland Ruins (Slaughter).
