The Oath Gauge displays the current strength of a paladin's Sword or Shield Oath. A strong oath is required to execute several select actions such as [[Sheltron]] (acquired at level 52) and [[Intervention]] (acquired at level 62), and will grow weaker upon using them.

When a paladin uses the [[PvP]] ability [[Shield Oath]], a symbol denoting a defensive stance will be displayed. When not employing Shield Oath, an offensive stance symbol will otherwise be displayed.


In addition to these symbols, paladins must also keep an eye on their Oath Gauge. Oath is spent to activate the PvP ability [[Cover]], and the Oath Gauge will gradually be depleted while Cover is in effect. The Oath Gauge can be refilled by executing combo actions.
The gauge cannot be displayed in simple mode until learning the trait {{trait icon|Oath Mastery}} at level 35.

Oath Gauge is Paladin's Job Gauge.

Oath Gauge

Upon learning the action Iron Will.png  Iron Will (tank stance) at level 10, a symbol will appear on the screen indicating when it is in effect. Iron Will increases enmity gained from using other actions.

Upon learning the trait Oath Mastery.png  Oath Mastery, the symbol which indicates the use of Iron Will will change to also display the Oath Gauge.

Oath increases by 5 with every auto-attack: Auto-attack for Paladin occurs every 2.24 seconds. Every ability that uses Oath consumes 50 Oath, meaning that each of these abilities can be used once every 22.4 seconds.

Oath can be used on abilities Sheltron.png  Sheltron and its upgraded version Holy Sheltron.png  Holy Sheltron, Intervention.png  Intervention and Cover.png  Cover.
