Prime Collectables were first introduced in Patch 6.2 and can be collected by Botanist and Miner. Prime collectable items that have reached maximum collectability will, on occasion, become sublime collectables when gathered. A higher gathering rate increases your chances of a prime collectable becoming sublime. Fisher does not use the mechanic, but it still has related items for use in Aetherial reduction icon1.png  Aetherial Reduction.

Prime collectable items that have reached maximum collectability have a chance of yielding exceedingly rare items from Aetherial reduction icon1.png  Aetherial Reduction. When using sublime collectables, you are guaranteed to receive these rare items.
