Scholar Concept from Box Art
Scholar will be the 9th job implemented at the release of A Realm Reborn. Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida mentioned this in the Letter from the Producer Live VII. Additional information about the Scholar will be released in E3. Scholar is rumored to be evolved from the class Arcanist, in addition to Summoner.
Not much is known about Scholar, but according to Final Fantasy tradition, he or she should use book or Grimoire as weapon and be able to use both black and white magic.
